Dream Love School
Since 2021Our first project, still running every week. Thirty minute online English lessons for pediatric cancer patients, planned by the mentor who teaches them.
Youth-Led Education & Mentorship
GLOW creates accessible learning opportunities for children and teens facing educational barriers. From weekly mentorship to digital learning resources, our goal is to build support that can reach more learners, in more communities, over time.
A weekly after-school English program opens with Dream Love School, reaching 18 learners in its first year.
Returning learners bring others, and the program settles into a steady weekly rhythm.
The mentor team is entirely Korea-based at this point.
Volunteers outside Korea begin teaching, widening the hours the program can cover.
Demand grows sharply and the weekly sessions run at full capacity.
The program becomes GLOW, reaching more learners, and a project begins to build an online teaching platform.

Software we are building now: an audio and video course platform with interactive practice, so learning English feels less like homework and more like listening.
Where our mentors are trained and supported. Day Leaders run a weekday team, track feedback, and propose the projects GLOW takes on next.
GLOW began in 2021 with English Playground, a weekly after-school program run with Dream Love School for children receiving long-term hospital care. Since then 52 mentors have taught more than 300+ learners.
Consistency is the point. A thirty minute lesson matters less on its own than the fact that it arrives every week, from someone who already knows the learner. We are extending that model to new partners, and building digital resources so the same support can reach learners we cannot meet in person.
Mentors teach one lesson a week for a ten week cohort. We select mentors through an application review followed by an interview.

We partner with hospital programs, schools, and community organizations whose learners need English support. Tell us who you serve and what you need, and we will tell you what we can take on.
